Knitwear

Vintage clothing and vintage knitwear is really sought after for its quality and individuality.

From early 2 ply knits when hand knitters were so skilled, the craft was passed down to each new generation they could knit any thing from complicated four needle sock and Fair-isle patterns to every day woolies.

Extra layers were added in the form of a woollen waistcoat or cosy jumper. The craze for Tank Tops in vivid colours were all the rage in the seventies along with classic Aran cable knit cardigan and jumpers. In the eighties it was big bold jewelled colours in fluffy mohair and bat wing sleeves.
