A Classic vintage Vilyella Cravat 
 
Dating from: late 1950s early 1960s
 
Label: Viyella for Michelsons of London England wool & Cotton wash as silk 
 
Fabric: 55% Wool 45% Cotton with silk lining
 
Description: Background green with large round fluted circles with orange, brown and blue the back of the cravat is green silk
The cravat can be worn in two ways:
 
The short way (RAF Style) start with the label facing your neck under your chin and cross over the two ends behind your neck bring them round to the front and tie the ends bringing one end over the other and secure with cravat pin, tuck ends inside shirt.
 
The long way (Noel Coward Style) Put the label facing your neck at the back of your neck and bring the two ends around to the front simply cross over the two ends, secure with a cravat pin tuck ends inside shirt.
 
Measurements:
tip to tip 43 “ (109.5 cm) width at tip: 5” (12.5cm) width at the narrow point 2” (5cm)
