Description: This silk cravat dating from the 1930s has a deco pattern a beige background with overlapping brown diagonal squares with a little brown square inside each that has an even smaller electric blue square inside. There is also tiny orange star shape inside every other brown diagonal squares.
The cravat can be worn two ways:
The short way (RAF Style) start with the label facing your neck under your chin and cross over the two ends behind your neck bring them round to the front and tie the ends bringing one end over the other and secure with cravat pin, tuck ends inside shirt.
The long way (Noel Coward Style) Put the label facing your neck at the back of your neck and bring the two ends around to the front simply cross over the two ends, secure with a cravat pin tuck ends inside shirt.
Measurements:
tip to tip 43 ¼ “(110cm) width at tip: 5 ½” (12.5cm) width at the narrow point 1 ½ ” (4cm)
