Original Vintage: This is a 1980s navy pleated velvet hat, made in the classic 1940s Pill Box Style, with face veiling. It has different personalities it can be worn in 3 different ways.
 
On the jaunt with the face veil down for a bit of mystery 1940s style, or you can put the veiling under the hat which just softens the line.
It can be worn straight on with the veiling over the face or under hat.
Alternatively, it can be worn 1960s Jackie ‘O’ style on the back of the head. 
It has a large floppy velvet bow on the back that gives this hat all round interest.

Measurements: 
The bow is 6" wide the tails from tip to tip are 13"
3" deep 
Inside round opening measures 21 1/2"
NB. this is not meant to fit over your head, but sits on your head it is secured with elastic which does not go under you chin but behind your hair
tip you can secure the hat with two crossed kirby grips on each side 
and use a hair pin if you want to secure it on the back of your head.
