Original Vintage: King Edward VIII Coronation Mug for a coronation that was never to take place.

Edward VIII was king of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 20th January 1936 until his abdication in December 1936. Edward was the first monarch who took the decision to voluntary abdicate from the throne. He did this because the British Government, public and the Church of England condemned his decision to marry the American divorcée Wallis Warfield Simpson.
