Label: Radley of London

Ossie Clark and his textile designer wife Celia Birtwell created iconic looks of the late 1960s and 1970s. Ossie Clark worked at Alice Pollocks Quorum boutique and he was known for his ingenious cut panels and beautiful lines. In 1969 Alfred Radley became a partner in Quorum and Clark started designing for Radley.

Radley was a British clothing manufacturing company launched in the 1960s by Alfred Radley. The top designers of the 1960s including Quorum designers Ossie Clark and Alice Pollock, designed garments under the Radley label and many Radley garments borrowed design elements from them. Designs were sometimes sketched by Clark then Radleys in house designer would use the ideas to produce a variety of designs for Radley, to make them more affordable pieces.
