Measurements: inside crown: 215/8” size: 6 ¾ (small)
height of top hat: 5 ¾” the brim is 2” (5cm) 
 
Made of: Incredibly soft black brushed silk in very good condition, with brown leather inner band, and lined in Ivory Silk there is some damage to the lining it is disintegrating away above the leather band see last photo. Price reflects the damage to the lining.
 
The box is damaged by age the lining is striped linen the handles has perished having said all this it’s a great prop and will keep your topper safe.
Features: The Topper has a beautiful sheen edged in petersham around the brim which curls at the sides in such an elegant line, with a wool felt band.
 
Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: Although the lining is disintegrating away above the leather band and signs of wear as you would expect from a piece with such age. The box is also damaged with a hole in the top, and the bar and lock long gone.
