Label: Ossie Clark for Radley Moss Crepe very collectable rare piece.
Ossie Clark and his textile designer wife Celia Birtwell created iconic looks of the late 1960s and 1970s. Ossie Clark worked at Alice Pollocks Quorum boutique and he was known for his ingenious cut panels and beautiful lines. In 1969 Alfred Radley became a partner in Quorum and Clark started designing for Radley.

Fabric: quality black moss crepe with black nylon lace
Style: The dress has been expertly cut and finished and beautifully designed by Ossie Clark in an Edwardian style.
Features: The dress is loose fitting with one panel at the front and three panels at the back, the centre of which is gathered into the black lace edged yoke. The front panel is gathered into the ‘U’ shaped pin tucked bodice and is edged in black lace as is the stand collar. The gathered sleeve is finished in a cuff and on each side of the bodice there is a belt tie which pulls the dress in and ties at the centre back.
Closure: 7“(18cm) opening at back neck with four pearl button, two on the neck stand and two on the placket, belt tie just above waist line.
Ideal to wear for: Classic wearable dress for special occasion or event
Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: one pearl buttons surface is scratched off, I wanted to keep the original buttons on the garment.( I will send new buttons to replace)
