Original Vintage Bright Pint Silk Dupion Dress 
 
The dress may have been hand made in Hong Kong in the 1980s, when it was very fashionable for tourists to pick out a silk and then select a design and the dress would be made to measure within a few hours by expert tailors.

Fabric: bright silk colours background of rust, hot pink, grey and black form a modern paisley pattern, lined in a matching hot pink lining.
 
Closure:
Invisible nylon zip has been expertly inserted in the centre back.
 
Style: A Chinese Cheongsam body hugging style dress 
 
Features: The dress is cut in one piece to the front and two at the back the sleeves are part of the bodice, with waist darts two to the back and two to the front. Side slits to each side giving a flash of hot pink lining. and a mandarin stand collar.
