Original Vintage: So when listing this this dress it took me right back to a beautiful store in London back in the 1970’s, as I walked in I was faced with rows of the most beautiful floral print floor length maxi dresses. The floors were stripped oak boards the shop smelt of roses and there were baskets of flowers and pretty white cotton blouses petticoats and aprons I was in heaven it was the one of the first Laura Ashley shops in Sloane Square London it was beautifull. Well this dress is from this era.

Fabric: Quality printed cotton a dark grey background with ivory classic Laura Ashley spriggy design.
 
Style: Regency style 
 
Features: A scooped neckline back and front with a casing threaded with a narrow fabric tape that can be pulled in and tied in a bow or left loose. The bodice a princess line which also has a casing in under the bust line and a further fabric tape that can also be tied in a bow. The skirts are A line shaped panels two at the back and one front piece that fall to a midi length.
 
Closure: Nylon zip with hook at top
 
Ideal to wear for:  Really wearable dress this could be worn with a skinny roll neck underneath and tan clumpy boots or a summer look with flip flops. 
 
Vintage Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition: There is a very tiny slub in the cotton on the front neckline this is part of the natural cotton, please see close up for detail.
