Original Vintage: This is a 1960s green mesh pill box shape hat from USA
It is fun and typical of the sixties; it can be worn in two ways.
It can be worn straight on 
Alternatively, it can be worn 1960s Jackie ‘O’ style on the back of the head. 
 
This is a 1960s green mesh pill box shape hat, decorated around the sides with silk flowers in shades of yellows and greens. The top has some fine green veiling which covers some of the flowers. The hat has the Union Made label inside 
 
Dating from: 1960s 
 
Measurements: 
3 ½ " deep (9cm)
Inside round opening measures 21 ½ " (56cm)
Top diameter: 6” x 6 ½ (15.2 cm x 16.5 cm)
NB. this is not meant to fit over your head, but sits on your head it is secured with elastic which does not go under you chin but behind your hair
tip you can secure the hat with two crossed kirby grips on each side 
and use a hair pin if you want to secure it on the back of your head.
