Fabric: A quality crisp cotton print of medium weight. The print is an iconic 1950s with a light grey background with dashes of white lines with several individual leaf and flower designs repeated throughout the fabric in a clear coral pink with little sprigs of tiny black leaves.
 
Style: A classic 1950's fit and flare 
 
Features: The dress is a classic feminine dress the bodice has a one piece fitted back panel and two front panels that have three angled waist box pleated darts which open over the bust line. The collar is a flattering line that sits so well around the neckline. There are three cream buttons down the centre front, with a flattering three-quarter set-in sleeve which has double shaped darts and turn back pointed cuffs. The skirts are made from six shaped panels and are softly gathered into the bodice giving a gentle fullness over the hips and very full at the hem. There are pink belt loops for 1 ½” belt that is no longer with the dress a coral belt would look great.
 
Nb. To make the waist appear smaller wear a full net petticoat ! The dress is photographed with a nett petticoat not included in the sale but available on our lingerie page, last photo shows dress without petticoat 
 
Closure: buttons down centre front and metal zip to the side.
