Fabric: A beautiful mushroom coloured satin jacquard that has swirls of stems and leaves in black and a mix of the mushroom and black thread creating a grey brown black
 
Style: A classic 1950’s pencil dress, with pleated feature
 
Features: The bodice has a flattering gentle scooped boat neckline, with little set-in sleeves. The bodice has bust darts coming up from the seam where the pleated sash is attached at the front and the waist at the back. The sash is sharply pleated into half inch pleats (1.5cm) from the side seams to the centre front where a round rose made of the jacquard fabric sits.  The skirts are pencil in shape one panel at the front with two pleats at the waist and two panels at the back with darts from the waist. That fall below the knee with a kick pleat in the centre back seam.
 
Closure: metal zip down the centre back
