Side seam to side seam across bust doubled :38” (96.5 cm)
Waist 31” (79 cm) Hips are free
Length Back waist to hem 26” (66cm)
Underarm seam to side waist: 7 ½” (19cm)
Sleeve Length: 9” (23cm)
Sleeve opening: 10” (25.5 cm)

Fabric: Crimson Red and Black Brocade with a silky sheen to the
Style: Classic fitted bodice with two bust and waist darts to the
front. The skirt is sewn into the waistline with one inch (2.5cm) knife pleats which give a flare skirt with a hem that falls below the knee.
There is enough fabric in the dress the hem is 68” (173cm) to wear a petticoat if a fit and flare look is desired which we sell separately.
Features: The neckline is high with a soft V back and front
Closure: Nylon zip at the side waist (the original zip has been
replaced at some point as is would have been metal)

Vintage items are not new they date back to a particular era, some have survived in amazing condition, while others may show some

unworn and good as the day it was made.
Excellent Vintage Condition: Means the item is in great shape for its age. (Most of our stock will fall into this category)
Flawed Vintage Condition: Means the item is wearable but does
have some repair, mark or damage. The flaws will be described.
No care label as garment is pre 1966 we would recomend Dry clean or a gentle hand wash.
