We suggest that you contact your local customs office for current charges before you order to avoid any unexpected charges. How do you date your authentic Vintage Stock ? Having worked with Vintage Clothing for many years we are experts in dating clothing, and we will also try and pass on any provenance we have on an item. We also categorize certain clothing into a decade they are based on for example 1980’s does 1940’s Tea Dress. How do you rate the condtion of your vintage items ? Vintage items are not new they date back to a particular era, some have survived in amazing condition, while others may show some signs of age but we feel they still deserve to make it into our collection. Therefore we have listed our items into three Conditions: ​ 1. MINT VINTAGE CONDITION: Means the item although Vintage is unworn and good as the day it was made. 2. EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION: Means the items is in great shape for its age. ( Most of our stock will fall into this catagory, we will point out any age related marks) 3. FLAWED VINTAGE CONDITION: Means the item is wearable but does have some repair, mark or damage. The flaws will be described. Where do you source your Vintage Stock ? All of our stock is individually sourced mainly from Great Britain, with some pieces from the USA and Europe, we do not buy whole sale. Do contact us if you have some vintage items to sell. Do you accept returns ? We only allow returns or exchanges on very rare occasions, where we have made a mistake, so please choose carefully. You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order if you have an issue, if an exchange or refund is issued it must be sent back within 48 hours after our conversation. No refunds or exchanges will be given with issues based upon fit of a garment, please ensure you measure correctly and if you need more measurements than listed please don't hesitate to get in contact with us. Size Guide Vintage clothing is not like modern clothing, unlike modern fabrics most Vintage fabrics are not stretchy. To avoid disappointment, take a few minutes to check your measurements, once you have measured your body and checked the measurements in the chart below, you will have your vintage clothing size for items we sell, do not worry if you find it is a different size from the size you buy from modern retailers. Regardless of the size shown in the Vintage Item (if any) we measure it in inches and then size the garment as listed in the table below. We also list all measurements of each item in inches and centimetres on each individual listing. So compare your personal body measurements with our garment measurements to make sure the item fits. ​ Tip : If you have an item of clothing in your wardrobe that fits you well and is similar in style to our stock then measure your garment and compare it to the measurements we have provided. ​ We will always try and give you some idea of the fabric composition and advise you if it does have some stretch. My Story Rock Follies Vintage was established in 2009.... Rock Follies Vintage has grown from a love of history and fashion, inspired by yesterday’s beautiful fabrics, designs Quality handpicked original vintage clothing and accessories curated into collections and outfits for occasions, events, and lifestyle ‘Wear Forever is Our Mantra’ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Each item that makes up the Vintage Collection has been individually and lovingly sourced. I like to think that I am re-homing pieces from the collection to those that will love and cherish them. So who am I ? my name is Lynda Case, I am the Owner and Founder of Rock Follies Vintage, I trained at Wimbledon School of Art in Theatre Costume, and worked in the production wardrobe of The English National Opera, in the 1980's and went on to run the Wardrobe department at the Redgrave Theatre in Farnham Surrey, I worked free-lance and for the BBC, the Royal Opera House and have had many private commissions. With a real passion for fabrics I now really enjoying the hunt for the treasured vintage items that make up the Rock Follies Vintage Collection. ​ After taking our Vintage Collection successfully around the UK to various Vintage Fairs for a number of years, I opened a shop in Worcester in December 2012, where I could display a lot more stock and provide a really professional and friendly service, my aim was to make each person that visited the shop feel welcome and at ease, I and the shop won awards and customers came from far and wide as we became a destination shop. ​ It was time for a change in 2021, following three lockdowns and many cancelled events, I pivoted Rock Follies Vintage online and although it was all new with a huge task of listing two floors and well over a thousand items onto the new website, it happened and now my customer base has widened worldwide. ​ With an exciting and informative website full of quality vintage stock, with new items being added to every week regular Newsletters going out to the vintage fans, A monthly Latest News Blog full of tips and advice and now, Appointments to view items and collections seen online, Plus Vintage Garden Parties planned for the spring and summer 2022. It was a great accolade and we enjoyed meeting many of the other small businesses from across the UK at a number of events, including a Blue Tie celebration evening in London and a presentation and celebration lunch at the House of Lords. The support Small Business Saturday UK has been fantastic a real inspiration. We also took the chance to see the First Statue ever of a Woman in Parliament Square, it was a lovely moment and I am sure the Suffragist leader Millicent Garrett Fawcett who now stands with the 11 men would have approved of our success.
